From May 12 to 18, 2024, at the invitation of the Italian-Kazakh Trade Association (ACIK), supported by Neos Airline and Tomiris Tour, a familiarization tour was conducted to showcase the tourist attractions of the cities of Almaty, Shymkent, and Turkestan to representatives of Italian media and tour operators.

The aim of this project is to promote Kazakhstan as a tourist destination for citizens of Italy and other European Union countries. During the tour, representatives and journalists from esteemed publications such as TV channel RAI 1, Touring Magazine, Io Donna magazine, Viaggi e Turismo, Food and travel Italia and others, explored the unique cultural and historical sites of Kazakhstan.

Following the trip, a series of informational articles about the tourist opportunities in Kazakhstan will be published, which will help increase interest in the country among European tourists.

The Italian-Kazakh Trade Association extends special thanks to the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the administrations of the cities of Almaty, Shymkent, and the Turkestan region for their assistance and support in organizing this event. We are confident that our efforts will contribute to strengthening even closer cooperation between Italy and Kazakhstan in the field of tourism.
