The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan commented on the information that appeared in the media about Kazakhstan being on the black list of the Schengen zone.
whose citizens will now require additional consultations when issuing a Schengen visa.
According to A.Smadiyarov, the consultations may take up to seven days. The standard term of a general consideration of visa applications remains the same as before – up to 15 days. In practice, no significant changes in the consideration of visa applications for Kazakh citizens are expected.

It is reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently continuing consultations with European partners in order to develop mutually acceptable mechanisms to simplify visa procedures for our citizens as well.
