ACIK, in collaboration with TRUSTFORCE, successfully organized an exclusive tourism networking event aimed at strengthening cooperation between Italy and Kazakhstan and promoting Kazakhstan as one of Central Asia's most promising travel destinations.

The event brought together 38 representatives from Italian travel agencies and tour operators, offering them an in-depth introduction to Kazakhstan's tourism potential. Participants explored the country's rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural landscapes, modern cities, and the growing variety of travel experiences available to international visitors.

The destination presentation was delivered in partnership with Tomiris Tour, one of Kazakhstan's leading destination management companies, which showcased a wide portfolio of tailored itineraries and tourism products designed specifically for the Italian market. From the vibrant city of Almaty and the spectacular Charyn Canyon to the alpine lakes, national parks, and the country's unique nomadic traditions, attendees gained a comprehensive overview of Kazakhstan's diverse tourism offering.

An important focus of the event was accessibility. Neos Airlines presented its direct connection between Milan and Almaty, a strategic route that significantly reduces travel time and makes Kazakhstan more accessible than ever for Italian travelers. The direct flight represents an important milestone in facilitating both leisure tourism and business exchanges between the two countries.

The event was honored by the presence of H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Italy,Yerbolat Sembayev, who underlined the strategic role of tourism in strengthening bilateral relations. In his remarks, the Ambassador emphasized that Kazakhstan is positioning itself as one of the destinations in Central Asia, combining spectacular natural beauty, authentic cultural experiences, modern infrastructure, and a welcoming environment for international visitors.

The initiative also created valuable networking opportunities between Italian tourism professionals and Kazakh stakeholders, encouraging new commercial partnerships and expanding the range of travel products available for Italian clients.

For ACIK, promoting tourism represents another important pillar in strengthening relations between Italy and Kazakhstan. Alongside its activities in trade, investment, energy, and logistics, the Association continues to support initiatives that foster people-to-people connections, cultural exchange, and new business opportunities.

By bringing together institutions, airlines, tour operators, and travel agencies, the event demonstrated how public and private sector cooperation can contribute to increasing tourism flows and creating lasting partnerships between the two countries.

As interest in Central Asia continues to grow among European travelers, Kazakhstan is rapidly emerging as a destination that offers authenticity, adventure, and unique cultural experiences. Through initiatives such as this, ACIK remains committed to supporting the development of stronger bilateral ties and creating new opportunities for cooperation across multiple sectors.
