New regions will be formed in Kazakhstan

The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his today's Address, proposed a number of changes to form new regions in the country. Thus, it was proposed to divide the Almaty region into two regions: Taldykorgan will become the center of the Zhetysu region, and Kapshagay will become the center of the Almaty region. In addition, the Abai region will appear in Kazakhstan with the center in the city of Semey, and the Ulytau region will be formed on the territory of the former Zhezkazgan region.

Italy plans to open to all tourists in April

Restrictive COVID-19 measures in Kazakhstan: exemptions

627 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Kazakhstan over the past day. Previous day, zero deaths from coronavirus were recorded in Kazakhstan. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to reconsider quarantine restrictions

President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has ordered the government to review strict quarantine restrictions on small and medium-sized businesses, Tengrinews reports. “Apparently, COVID-19 in omicron form is becoming a general phenomenon, and it seems that many, at least the majority, will be forced to get sick,” the President said at the meeting with business representatives in Nur-Sultan.
