The first phase of re-opening businesses after quarantine will begin on 17 August.  Yeraly Tugzhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, announced: "A preliminary list of business entities has been formed, the work of which is planned to be resumed in the first stage after the completion of quarantine measures. These are shopping and entertainment centers, trading houses, retail chains, covered food and non-food markets, children's correction rooms, educational centers, children's development centers, circles, preschool institutions in  the regime of duty groups, beauty salons, hairdressing centers, salons that provide cosmetic and cosmetology services.

Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan approved 24 mandatory points of sanitary standards for business

The Ministry of Health has approved a checklist in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.  For violation of one of these 24 points is provided for liability in accordance with article 425 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.  This was written by Shyngys Temir, deputy chief of staff of the business ombudsman, on his Facebook page. Shyngys Temir listed 24 points, for violation of which there is a fine.  “Moreover, these 24 requirements do not apply to one specific object, but to all,” he wrote.

EU signs off on 15 countries that will be allowed to enter EU when borders open

EU member states have agreed to a list of 15 countries that will be allowed to enter when external borders reopen. An EU diplomatic source confirmed to Euronews that the draft list of 15 countries we reported on Monday has enough votes to pass and that an official announcement is expected later on Tuesday. There are two lists, one for those that will be allowed to enter, and one for those who will not. Qasym-Jomart Toqayev, President of Kazakhstan, instructed to make proposals within two days to return to strict quarantine due to the spread of coronavirus infection, according to the website of Akorda.
