At the same time, he added that special attention should be paid to the development of the geological industry and attracting investment in the exploration and production of minerals.

Introducing Zulfiya Suleimenova to the staff of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Prime Minister stressed that the department needs to intensify work on solving long-standing environmental issues, including those related to the Aral Sea and the Semipalatinsk region, as well as on achieving tasks in terms of water resources management and careful attitude to nature and wildlife.

At a meeting with the staff of the Ministry of Justice, the prime minister noted that the new head, Azamat Yeskaraev, and the staff of the department need to ensure the development of by-laws on all recently adopted laws and proper interdepartmental coordination in this matter. In addition, according to him, it is necessary to improve the quality of the examination of legal acts, interact more actively with the expert community as a whole and continue work on the formation of a new legislative framework in the form of “model” laws. “The President of the country sets the task of accelerating the decision-making process at all levels of public administration. It is this approach that will make it possible to promptly carry out the necessary social and economic reforms,” said Alikhan Smailov.

At the same time, according to him, it is necessary to further progressively develop the system of pre-school and out-of-school, vocational education.

“It is at the initial stages of education that the foundations of human capital and the further development of our state as a whole are laid. The government pays great attention to the education sector: teachers’ salaries are increased, new schools and kindergartens are opened, modern education formats are being introduced. We will continue to systematically consider and make decisions on all problematic issues of the industry,” Alikhan Smailov emphasized, thanking ex-Minister Askhat Aimagambetov for the work done.

Introducing the new leader Askhat Oralov to the staff of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the head of government stressed that among the priority tasks of the department are the preservation and promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, increasing the authority of the republic in the international arena, as well as changing approaches to the development of sports.
