Procedure for arrival in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- All persons arriving in Kazakhstan on flights from abroad undergo thermometry, questionnaire, and submit a certificate of passing the COVID-19 test by PCR, selected no earlier than 72 hours at the time of crossing the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Persons who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the absence of Certificate of Entry are not allowed.
- Arriving persons with a body temperature within the normal range, presenting a certificate, are explained about the possible symptoms of COVID-19 with the receipt of the corresponding acknowledgement, they continue to follow their destination.
- Arriving persons with an elevated body temperature, regardless of the presence of a Certificate, are subject to isolation in a quarantine hospital for up to 2 days for laboratory examination for COVID-19.
- After receiving the results of laboratory tests for COVID-19, persons with a positive result are transferred to an infectious diseases hospital, persons with a negative result for COVID-19 are explained about the possible symptoms of COVID-19 with the receipt of the corresponding acknowledgement.
- Arriving citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the absence of a Certificate, are subject to isolation in a quarantine hospital for 2 days for laboratory examination for COVID-19 by PCR.
- After receiving the results of laboratory tests for COVID-19, those arriving with a negative result for COVID-19 are explained about the possible symptoms of COVID-19 with the receipt of a corresponding acknowledgement.
- Arriving persons who test positive for COVID-19 are hospitalized in the quarantine isolation ward of the infectious diseases hospital.
