Neos and Alpitour are new ACIK membersadmin
We are glad to present you the organization of the first direct flight Milan-Almaty-Milan from the airline Neos, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Kazakhstan, the Italian-Kazakh Trade Association and the Tourism Department of the city of Almaty.
Within the framework of this event, the aviation company Neos and the tour operator Alpitour Group became ACIK members.
NEOS was founded in June 2001 and, having received the Air Carrier Certificate from the National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) on March 7, 2002, provides high quality air transport services both in flight and on land.
NEOS was the first Italian airline to receive JAR OPS certification since its inception. The company maintains its aircraft and other carriers with its own staff at Milan Malpensa Airport. At its headquarters, the company runs pilot and flight assistant training programs for Boeing 737-800 and 787-9 following TRTO certification in September 2002. Neos owns its bases at Milan Malpensa, Verona and Bologna airports, from which it operates daily scheduled and charter flights.
Alpitour World is one of Europe’s leading tour operators: in 2018 it earned 2.4 billion euros’ aggregate turnover. The epitome of professional standards, innovation and discovery, it has become a household name as the Group that has made Italians travel for over 70 years.
Today it has 9 offices in Italy, subsidiaries in 16 countries across the world, 4,000 employees and works all across the tourist trade in 5 integrated business areas, both in Italy and abroad.
Gruppo Alpitour consists of five divisions working all across the tourist trade with offices in Italy and abroad:
Tour Operating, Aviation, Hotel Management, Incoming and Travel Agencies. Each one is a leader in its industry, and all together they contribute to the Group’s soundness and to new types of holidays.
It is the Group’s core business, which the chain has been shaped around. Starting with the Alpitour brand – a leading heritage tour operator – it brings together the main Italian market players, acquired and developed over the last 25 years. The offering includes hundreds of destinations all over the world and thousands of travel options: holiday packages, resorts and clubs, tours, tailor-made travels, glamping, group or individual tours, and plenty more options. A veritable “luxury hub” has been set up within the division, offering upmarket heritage brands and tailor-made solutions.
On July 6-9, 2021, it is planned to organize the first test direct flight Milan-Almaty-Milan depending by approval of Ministry of Health, and on July 7, Almaty will host a series of meetings between the Alpitour group and Kazakhstani tour operators to discuss unique proposals and build long-term cooperation in the field of tourism.
