The Italo-Kazakh Trade Association, founded in 2016, with headquarters in Nur-Sultan, is an association of Italian and local entrepreneurs, professionals and non-profit organizations that works to promote the internationalization of companies and helps them in the commercial exchange between Italy and Kazakhstan. The Association follows its goals in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in accordance with Italian Law No. 518 of July 1, 1970, which establish the rules for associations of economic operators. Free, elective associations created abroad in order to contribute to the development of trade relations with Italy, and which may be recognized as Italian chambers of commerce and industry abroad. The Association was created and is developing as a meeting point for the Italian business community and many Kazakhstan operators who look at the Italian market with the goal of becoming, through an extensive and recognized network, an integral part of the business community of the country in which it operates.
In addition, the Association aims to develop economic and trade relations between Italy and be the fundamental institutional guideline for all public and private individuals who plan and implement projects for the economic and commercial expansion of Italy in the Kazakhstan market, and vice versa.
Association members are economic operators with the goals of developing their business in Kazakhstan, as well as local companies that recognize Italy as a partner for their business and / or investment destination.
The Association offers the Embassy and the ICE Office as a privileged interlocutor for Italian institutions, which work for trade and economic promotion in Kazakhstan and maintain close ties with Assocamerestero, with the prospect of being recognized as the first Italian Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan. The Association works in close cooperation with relevant institutions of Kazakhstan, such as ministries, Atameken, KAZNEX.
Activities are characterized by the following:
- A clear understanding and analysis of markets is the result of rooting in the territory and relations with the business community and local institutions;
- A particular predisposition to direct communication with companies by virtue of its nature as a union of entrepreneurs and professionals in the service of other entrepreneurs
- Strong tendency to work in accordance with performance parameters, which are a necessary requirement in order to offer competitive services in the market.
